Lap of Luxury

Lap of Luxury Dog Spa

re-branding project

Overview

Lap of Luxury Dog Spa is as the title suggests: a luxury dog spa in Delray Beach, Florida. Dogs are groomed with love and care by Jonathan David from Animal Planet’s Dogs 101. They also offers posh pet accessories from designers in Europe, Asia, and America. Striving to provide your dog with the best from around the world, they believe that a dog’s health and grooming go hand-in-hand.

Current Brand & Website

Let’s go from shaggy

There isn't a cohesive brand system currently. It doesn’t have a set color palette or a set type palette. The brand would benefit from simplifying their website and updating its photos.

to Shar-Pei

Taking a modern-but-whimsical twist, the new logo will be minimal with line art. A re-design of their shop exterior and brand new advertising will complete the rebrand. We know it’s extra, with a touch of humor.

Illustrations

Along with the logo illustration there are several other dog breeds depicted to show that Lap of Luxury caters to all dogs.

The Audience

The primary audience for Lap of Luxury is any dog owner who wants to make their dog feel like royalty.
This is for the owner who wants the best for their furry friend in regards to grooming, health, and accessories. At the end of the day, it’s not about the human. We accept all dogs regardless of their breed, age, or previous grooming experience.

Guerrilla Advertising

DOG PARKs

Placing luxury where you wouldn't expect it to be. By setting up this luxurious lounge chair in the middle of a dog park, it gets the dog owners' attention and raises questions.

PETSMART

Again with placing luxury where you least expect it. As dog owners are entering this store it captures their attention and alerts them to a better way to groom their cosmopolitan canine.

Digital/Print Advertising

Ad campaigns, like "Crowns Optional" appeal to the dog owners who enjoy treating their fur babies like royalty.
These posters would be put up around cities, near dog parks, and as mail invitations to the spa.

Process

It takes a while to look this good. This is the third iteration of this rebrand.
